Lawrence County 4-H held the Run to Remember 9/11 5k on the morning of Saturday, Sept. 11. The event, a commemoration of the tragedy that took place on Sept. 11, 2001, was funded by a $2,500 grant from the Corporation for National and Community Service, and the proceeds were divided evenly between the Veterans Home Auxiliary and the Mt. Vernon Veterans Way Project.
