Archers make their mark in Branson at state NASP archery tournaments

The Mt. Vernon Archery Club was busy last week. They traveled to Branson to compete in several state-level tournaments being held March 15-18 at the Branson Convention Center.
The first round was the Missouri State 3D tournament, which was held on Wednesday, March 15. Overall the team finished the day in sixth place.
The second round was the Missouri State Bullseye tournament on March 16. The team finished the weekend in 39th place overall.
The results from each day are as follows.
Missouri State 3D tournament: Todd Green, 257; Shawn Topper, 256; Gavin Mace, 255; Kayson McNeece, 255; Edgar Young, 253; Hayden Logan, 252; Emma Dunn, 233; Owen Smith 232; Kaiden Jackson, 229; Chloe Williams, 219; and Raymond Letterman, 211.
Missouri State Bullseye tournament: Cody Downing, 285; Logan Antich, 273; Shawn Topper, 268; Kayson McNeece, 267; Gavin Mace, 264; Todd Green, 260; Edgar Young, 250; Owen Smith, 245; Rianne Sharp, 241; Emma Dunn, 236; and Raymond Letterman, 218.
The following team members also received Academic archer recognition: Cody Downing, Logan Antich, Gavin Mace, Todd Green, Owen Smith and Emma Dunn.
