BARBARA JEAN LANGLEY

Barbara Jean Langley, 89, of Aurora passed away on Friday, Feb. 7, 2025, at the Township Senior Living in Springfield. She was born in Kansas City on Dec. 8, 1935; the daughter of Lavone and Helen (Burk) Faeth.
She was a 1953 graduate of Blue Springs High School.
She married Kenneth Lee Langley in Blue Springs on Dec. 27, 1957. They were married for almost 51 years when he passed away on Nov. 30, 2008.
They relocated to Aurora in 1960 where they built and operated the Aurora Bowl and owned and managed several beef cattle operations in the Aurora area. She worked in banking starting as a teller and retiring as a branch manager. She was also a Girl Scout leader and enjoyed traveling in their RV and was a member of the Classic Chevy Club of Springfield.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Dalbom of Branson; her son, Terry (Lisa) Langley of Springfield; four granddaughters; one great-grandson; one sister, Mary Ellen Tomi of Blue Springs; her sister-in-law, Linda Faeth of Blue Springs; her brother-in-law, Dave West of Stockton and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth; her brother, Larry Faeth and her sister, Dawn West.
Services were held on Saturday, Feb. 15, at Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora with burial after at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora.
