BETTY LEE PEPPER

Betty Lee Pepper, 91, of Boynton Beach, formerly of Purdy and Joplin, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025, under hospice care in Boynton Beach, Fla. She was born in Purdy on Sept. 1, 1933; the daughter of Cecil and Lela Belle (Conway) Cagle.
She graduated from Joplin High School in 1952. She was employed by Hospice by the Sea in Boca Raton, Fla. as the manager of fund raising for several years.
She is survived by her sister, Bonnie Vantrease of Pasadena, Texas and niece, Marcie Vantrease of Magnolia, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside services were held on Friday, Feb. 14, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Butterfield under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
