BETTY SUZANNE (SCHULTZ) JONES

Betty Suzanne (Schultz) Jones, 98, of Aurora passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025, at the Aurora Nursing Center. She was born on March 17, 1926; the daughter of George and Clara (Hale) Schultz.
She and her husband, John retired in Arizona and lived there for several decades until his death in 2007. She returned to Aurora in 2017 to be near family again.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Sue (Jody) Wood of Carthage; her son, Randy Jones of Aurora; four granddaughters and their spouses; three grandsons and their spouses; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her roommate, Kathleen and many friends at the Aurora Nursing Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Jones and a sister, Evelyn Rippee.
She was cremated at her own request and no funeral services are planned. She will be buried in Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora later this year after a private memorial service. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel in Aurora.
