Billie Joe Seaton

Billie Joe Seaton, 78, of Katy, Texas, formerly of Mt. Vernon, passed away on Dec. 12, 2018, in Katy, Texas, surrounded by his family. He was born March 22, 1940, in Mt. Vernon, to Floyd and Rosa (Holder) Seaton.
Seaton was a 1958 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School and entered the United States Army after graduation, making it a career for 20 years. He married Sandra on Aug. 5, 1961. They moved to Houston, Texas in 2003.
He is survived by his children: June Gregory, Donna Bonilla, William and David Seaton; sister, Velta Phillips of Mt. Vernon; 12 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his parents; and infant sister, Vonda Mae; brothers, James and Charles Seaton, who was killed in Vietnam.
Arrangements were under the direction of American Heritage Funeral Home in Houston, Texas.
