BILLY “BILL” WILLIS

Billy “Bill” Willis, 58, of Monett passed suddenly on Monday evening, Nov. 28, while at his home.
He was born on Dec. 26, 1963 in Fall City, Neb., son of the late Jesse T. Willis and Barbara Jo (Roddy) Willis.
He graduated from Santa Fe Trail High School in Osage County, Kan. with the class of 1982 and later studied accounting at Oklahoma Christian College.
He loved his Lord first and was a member of the Mt. Vernon Church of Christ. Secondly, he loved his family.  
On June 15, 1984 in Monett, Bill married Kamilla Bremer and they had one son, Thomas.
He is survived by his wife, Kami; his son, Thomas Willis, of Berryville, Ark.; two brothers, Ed Willis and wife Gizelle, of Nixa and Carl Willis and wife Cheryl, of Monett; one sister, Phyllis Stewart and husband Danny, of Nixa; two brothers-in-law, Randy Carter, of Springfield and Kelly Bremer, of Monett; as well as a host of extended family and friends. 
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Dolly Jo Carter.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at Buchanan Funeral Home with Jonathan Zerby, Minister, officiating. Interment will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Monett. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions have been requested to the Barry-Lawrence County Development Center in care of the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
