No swim, no problem for Red, White & Boomers at Spirit of ‘76 Park
Red, White & BOOM!, Mt. Vernon’s traditional Independence Day celebration, was held on Friday, July 1, at Spirit of ‘76 Park. Due to the municipal pool undergoing renovations, Free Swim was not a part of this year’s celebration, but many of the event’s other favorite activities, including Lazer Tag, music, games and a photo booth were. A fireworks show, provided by A&M Pyrotechnic, capped off the evening.
