BRODY JAKOB HOLT

Brody Jakob Holt, 12, passed away on May 15, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born in Bentonville, Ark. on Feb. 20, 2013; the son of Michelle and Nathaniel Holt.
He attended Noah’s Ark preschool before moving to Washburn and starting his journey as a Trojan in the Southwest school district. He played football through Cassville Mighty Mite football for three years and was on the academic, track, and baseball teams. He enjoyed riding his dirt bikes, doing school sports, gaming with his friends and traveling with his family. Above all things, he loved to share his knowledge. He was passionate about politics and his goal for life was to become the President of the United States. He was known for his huge heart, contagious smile, and constant joking. He loved to be the funny guy and make people laugh.
He is survived by his dad, Nathaniel Holt of Bentonville, Ark.; his mom and bonus dad, Michelle and Jeremy Bernard of Washburn; sisters, Cheyenne and Aubrey Holt of Washburn and sister and brother-in-law, Kaitlyn Bernard and Adam Ramirez of Washburn; brother and sister-in-law, Tyler (Brittney) Holt and three nephews; Case, Nixon and Lux Bernard of Washburn; his nanny, Linda McManus of Winnfield, La.; great-grandpa and great-grandma, Phil and Leeann Shelton of Centerton, Ark.; his Papa Glen Swanson of Searcy, Ark.; grandma and grandpa, Melissa and Don Pruitt of Bentonville, Ark.; mimi and grandfather, Wesley and Karen Holt of Bentonville, Ark.;  grams, Lynne Bernard of Washburn; papa and granny, John and Diane Knowlton of Centerton, Ark., and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandpa, Warren Knowlton; great-grandma, Jackie Gonzalez; grandma, Sheri Miller; great-nana, Karen Rocha; peepaw, Lance Ripple and uncle, John Kincannon.
Services were held on Friday, May 23, in the Southwest High School gymnasium in Washburn, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Donnie Spears conducted the services.
