CARLEEN HOLLY BUTTERWORTH

Carleen Holly Butterworth, 55, of Cassville passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025. She was born in Kansas City on June 7, 1969; the daughter of Curtis Hay, Sr. and Sharon (Yancey) Hay. She attended school in Diamond graduating from Diamond High School. She was employed by Able 2 in the drafting department for a few years before becoming a Mary Kay consultant for several years. She was a member of  Mission Baptist Church in Washburn.
On Aug. 3, 2013, she married Todd Butterworth in Washburn.
She is survived by her husband, Todd; her parents; mother-in-law, Rita Bow of Elkton; two sons, Christopher (Stacy) Baileyof Rogers, Ark. and David Clark, Jr. of Cassville; one daughter, Heather Edwards of Cassville; one brother, Curtis (Mary) Hay, Jr. of Healdton, Okla.; three grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Services were held on Monday, Feb. 17, at Mission Baptist Church in Washburn with Brother Dayton Brattin conducting the services. Burial was at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
