CARLOS E. JACKSON

Carlos E. Jackson, 75, of Aurora passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. He was born in Springfield on Nov. 25, 1949; the son of Carl and Jean (LaPollett) Jackson. 
After graduating high school, he went to college. He went on to work at MWM Color Press in Aurora and then A&J Printing in Nixa. He later became a salesman and traveled to many places, and had the opportunity to work alongside Silver Dollar City, one of his largest clients.
He married Debra Jackson on Dec. 31, 2003, in Jamaica.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Debra Jackson; one sister, Carla Ennis; one grandson; and one great-grandson; his brother-in-law, Jim Huff; along with many nieces and nephews and friends that turned into family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Hazel Johnson and Judy Huff.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, July 28, in the Old Town Bar in Aurora.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel in Aurora.
