Carolyn Louise Lanford

Carolyn Louise Lanford, 77, of Aurora passed away Dec. 19, 2020, at Wilson’s Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Springfield. She was born Feb. 22, 1943, in Republic the daughter of J.B. and Ellen Louise (Hansen) Apple.
She was a 1961 graduate of Wichita High School and attended Wichita State University.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Aurora United Methodist Church.
On Feb. 25, 1965, she married Gary Lee Lanford, in Wichita, Kan. He preceded her in death on Dec. 3, 2008.
She is survived by her daughters, Carrie (Robert) Steward, of Springfield and Jeanette (Eric) Bacher, of Roland, Okla.; three grandchildren and one great- grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gary and sister, Judith Apple.
A graveside service, under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora was held Dec. 23, 2020, at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora.
