Charles D. (Chuck) Vincent

Charles D. (Chuck) Vincent,78, passed away Sept. 18, 2018, in Joplin.
Vincent was born Sept. 24, 1939, in Springfield, Vt., to Donald and Ruth (Vincent) Glova. Upon the death of his mother, he was raised by his grandparents, Charles and Margie Vincent. After his graduation from Sarcoxie High School, he worked many years for the Missouri State Highway Department, attaining the position of special maintenance supervisor. During his lifetime, he also farmed, worked in construction, had his own tree trimming business.
In 1963, he married Barbara Michel, who survives. Also surviving are: son Matthew (Raydene) two granddaughters, and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Sept. 20, at 10 a.m., at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2616, Connecticut, Joplin, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. Interment was at Mt. Hope Cemetery under the direction of Parker Funeral Home.
