Charles D. Lacey
Charles D. Lacey, 65, of Aurora passed away April 6, 2020.
He was born in Springfield and was a 1973 graduate of Central High School. After graduation he went on to attend Draughon Business College. In his 20’s he moved to Denver where he worked in the fencing business for many years, working his way up from installing to being an estimator. Toward the end of his employment years, he moved back to southwest Missouri to be closer to family. He settled in Aurora and went to work for Dexter Printing Co. until his retirement.
Survivors include: brother, Gerald Lacey; sisters, Debra Lacey, Dawn Kramer and Nancy Lacey; aunt, Nancy Jenkins; many cousins, nieces, nephews and best friend since childhood, Don Brink. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Howard Lacey Sr. and Alberta (Hembree) Lacey; brother, Howard Lacey Jr.; and sister, Shirleyn Lacey.
Because of the current situation with the COVID-19, the family has decided to hold a memorial service at a later date. Memorials may be made to Play It Forward SWMO in care of Car-Fi, 1600 S.
