Charles Lewis Jenkins

Charles Lewis Jenkins, 88, of Mt. Vernon passed away Dec. 5, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. He was born March 13, 1930, in Crane to James Lewis and Olive Florence (Nelson) Jenkins, who preceded him in death.
He married Beverly A. Daum of Clever in 1957, who survives him. Other survivors include: sons, Randall (GinnaGayle) Daum of Clever, Roger (Brenda) Jenkins of Aurora, Greg (Teresa) Jenkins of Pierce City and Barth (Brooke) Jenkins of Mt. Vernon; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of family.
Jenkins was a member of the Christian Church of Clever. Visitation and memorial service will be at a later date.
