Chiefs Hall of Famer Lowery comes to MARC for Priebe
Nick Lowery, the Kansas City Chiefs Hall of Fame kicker, autographs a poster for Isabella Hernandez, 11. Lowery autographed posters of himself for $10 donations to the Priebe family, and also donated two autographed footballs for auction.
Mt. Vernon auction of sports memorabilia, firearms held to support injured policeman
The Lawrence County Shrine Club held an auction at the MARC in Mt. Vernon Sunday, July 19, to benefit the Mark Priebe family. Priebe was recently critically injured while on the job with the Springfield Police Department.
More than 60 donated items were auctioned at the event, including gift cards, sports memorabilia, athletic wear and firearms. Another highlight of the day was Kansas City Chiefs Hall of Fame kicker Nick Lowery, who made an appearance and signed autographs. During the event, Priebe spoke to those in attendance at the auction via webcam, where he thanked them for their support.
