Cinnamon Toast Pretzels

The Record’s “Recipe of the Week”:
Cinnamon Toast Pretzels by Naoma Williams

18 oz. bag pretzels
1/3 cup oil
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1-1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 cup Hershey’s cinnamon chips

Pour the pretzels into a microwave safe bowl.

Combine the oil, granulated sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl, mixing well. Pour over the pretzels, making sure they are coated. Place in the microwave for 2 minutes on high. Check after the first minute as they might start to scorch. Keep stirring the mixture over the pretzels. Microwave for 1 minute more.

When out of the microwave, stir again to make sure they are coated. While the pretzels are still hot, toss in the chips and fold into the pretzels. Pour into a Tupperware-type container while they are still hot. With the lid on, shake the container to coat the pretzels even more. Let cool.
