In honor of the long-closed Circle K Rodeo Company, the inaugural Circle K Reunion was held July 9, 2022, at Colley Picnic Area in western Lawrence County. The Circle K Rodeo Company, operated by Jerry and Peggy King, produced Open, ACRA sanctioned, Missouri High School and AYRA Junior Rodeos between 1964-1984 in the four-state area. The home ranch was near Galena. They provided a practice pen of broncs, bull, and timed event cattle for the Southwest Missouri Rodeo Team in the 60’s and furnished rodeo stock for many finals.
