Daniel J. Birchfield

Daniel J. Birchfield, 72, of Aurora, passed away Nov. 5, 2019 in his home. He was born to Douglas and Lorrain Kistinger Birchfield Feb. 26, 1947 in Chicago, Ill. He was retired from General Motors and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include: son, Daniel Birchfield Jr. and wife, Cathy of Morris, Ill.; daughter, Ronda (Rob) Feltes of Carpentersville, Ill.; brother, David Birchfield of Aurora; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Rebecca; brother, Sandy Birchfield and sister, Darlene Compton.
Graveside services were held Nov. 12, 2019 in the  Veterans Cemetery in Springfield under the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel.
