Daniel A. Musgrove

Daniel A. Musgrove, 73, of Monett was called home June 25, 2020. He was born in McAllen, Texas in 1946; to the late Mark and Carmen (Azuara) Musgrove Sr. He was united in marriage in 1989 in Pauls Valley, Okla. to Janyce Chouteau; she survives.
He was retired from Blue Bell Creameries, a veteran serving his country during the Vietnam War in 1968-1972 and a member of the Arnhart Baptist Church in East Purdy. He was also a member of the Hobbs-Anderson Post91 the American Legion (Life) Dept. of Missouri, McCullough Cemetery Committee in Triplett, Monett Sportsman League (past president), Missouri Boys State, Cadet Patrol, ROTC Advisor, Men’s Breakfast, Coffee Group, and was a Purdy City Council Member.
Musgrove is survived by: wife Janyce; son, Brian Chouteau of St. Paul, Minn.; daughters, Tammie Musgrove-Woods of Shalotte, N.C., and Ginger Rodriguez of Shalotte, N.C.; Shawn Marie Oliver of Gilbert, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Mark Sr. and Carmen; and brother, Mark Musgrove Jr.
Visitation is being held Thursday July 2, 2020 from 9-10:45 a.m. at the Arnhart Baptist Church in East Purdy. Funeral services are being held on Thursday July 2, 2020 immediately following visitation at 11:00 a.m. at the Arnhart Baptist Church in East Purdy. Burial will take place at a later date at the McCullough Cemetery in Triplett. Memorials for Daniel may be made to the American Legion Post#91 in Monett. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett.
