Deborah Gail Hood

Deborah Gail Hood, 62, of Carterville, formerly of Sarcoxie, passed away March 26, 2020 at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
She was born in Monett Feb. 1, 1958 to the late Charles Earnest and Mable (Bristo) Rodgers. For several years she worked as a CNA. After the passing of her husband, Richard Klouse, she later married Wayne Hood in 2017. She attended Oasis Church of Joplin.
Deborah is survived by: husband, Wayne Hood; sons, Brian DePreste, Jr. (Melinda) of Carterville and Charles DePreste Sr. of Sarcoxie; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; step-children, Terry Hood (Kim) of Neck City, Brenda (Tim) Patrick, Barbara Stafford all of Carthage and Shonda (Nathan) McClure of Nicholasville, Ky.; several step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; father of her sons, Brian DePreste, Sr.; siblings, Bill (Stephanie) Brown and Jim Brown; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Richard Klouse; daughter-in-law, Mary DePreste; siblings, John Rodgers and Mary Orr.
