Delores Marie Platz

Delores Marie Platz, age 83, of Republic, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday morning, Jan. 1, 2019, at the Ozark Methodist Manor in Marionville.  She was born Jan. 29, 1935, in Milwaukee, Wisc., to Max and Angeline (Voit) Stima.
Platz was a press operator for Milwaukee Industrial Towel and Uniform in Milwaukee, Wisc., and was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Billings. In 1951, she married Robert Platz in Milwaukee, Wisc. He preceded her in death in 1999.
Platz is survived by: sons, Michael Platz and his wife, Yvette, of Republic and Brian Platz of Iowa; sisters, Linda (William) Werner of Port Washington, Wisc., and Dorothy Grabowski of Milwaukee; brother, David Stima of Milwaukee; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Her parents, husband, and one sister and one brother, preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at St. Mary’s Help of Christian Church in Sullivan, Wisc., under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora.
