DELPHIA LORENE “DEL” HOLMAN

Delphia Lorene “Del” Holman, 92, of Cassville passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025. She was born in Compton, Ark. on Sept. 12, 1932; the daughter of Frank and Cleo (Goodall) Perme.
On Jan. 1, 1955, she married Calvin Holman in Miami, Okla. They celebrated 70 years together this year.
She grew up and attended school in Compton, Ark. until the age of 12 when she was sent to Hollister to attend School of The Ozarks from where she graduated. She received her registered nursing diploma from St. Luke’s Hospital Training School and was employed as a registered nurse at South Barry County Hospital for over 30 years, where she served as the Director of Nurses. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Cassville.
She is survived by her husband, Calvin; three sons: Rod (Gwyn Plumlee) Holman of Exeter, Audy (Bettie) Holman Bettie of Cassville and Stuart (Diana) Holmanof Cassville; two daughters, Calla Bacon of Exeter and Jill LeCompte of Cassville; two brothers, Joe Ray (Linda) Perme of Harrison, Ark. and CJ (Liezl) Perme of Branson; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild with another on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Terri Holman; two brothers, Paul Perme and Frank Perme; two sisters, Shirley Perme and Betty Cook and two sons-in-law, Darrell Bacon and Michael LeCompte.
Services were held on Friday, March 21, at First Baptist Church in Cassville, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor James Weaver conducted the services. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville.
