Dorothy Yonker Borusheski

Dorothy Yonker Borusheski, 103, passed away Feb. 26, 2020. She was born in Pulaskifield on Nov. 26, 1916 to Walter and Helen (Kokorski) Yonker. She married Tony Borusheski in 1938, and he preceded her in death in 1986.Borusheski was a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pierce City where she was a member of the Altar Society.
Borusheski is survived by: children, Elizabeth (Betty) Brennan of Salt Lake City, Utah, Robert (Jeannette) Borusheski of Kansas City and Gary (Barbara) Boursheski of Dublin Ga.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many loving friends, nieces, nephews and neighbors, especially a dear friend Cindy Bricco of Aurora. She was preceded in death by: infant daughter, Joan Marie; brothers, Steve Yonker, Larry Yonker, Joe Yonker; and sister, Ophelia Yonker Kastens.  
Visitation services will be held at the Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, March 6, 2020 from 6-8:30 p.m. Celebration of life services will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Pierce City. Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s School.
