Dwight David Ray Camron

Dwight David Ray Camron, 58, passed away Aug. 23, 2019, in Mercy Hospital in Springfield. He was born to Thomas and Lenora (Cox) Camron, April 25, 1961, in Aurora. He has been a resident of the Clever community for the majority of his life.
In 1978, Camron married his childhood sweetheart, Sheila Kathleen Brown, in Wheelerville. From this union, they had a daughter, Barbara Jo and son, Dwight David Ray II.
He worked many years in construction as an operator, mechanic and supervisor. He also enjoyed raising beef cattle, hunting, Nascar, fishing, listening to music and spending time with friends and family.
Survivors include: his wife of 41 years; daughter, Barbara (Michael) Morris of Crane; son, Dwight (Lindsey) Camron II, of Clever; brothers, Howard (Janis) Camron of Crane, Paul Camron (Rita) of Clever; and sister-in-law, Shauntia Camron of Clever; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; step-siblings; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral service was held Aug. 27, 2019, in Meadors Funeral Home in Republic. Burial followed the service in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Clever. Family and friends may share online condolences at www.meadorsfuneralhome.com.
