Esther Maurine Palmer

Esther Maurine Palmer (née Kinyon, née Roberts), 93, died Sept. 4, 2018, in her adopted home of Willits, Calif. She was born April 12, 1925, to Dr. William and Mrs. Ethel Roberts in Kansas City. Palmer grew up in Mt. Vernon.
She was a lifelong supporter of the Arbor Day Foundation, a naturopathic doctor, and a member of “The Incredibles” the historic team that designed and built the first Boeing 747.
Palmer is preceded in death by: her parents; five siblings; both husbands; and one son.
She is survived by: her brother Billy Joe “BJ” Roberts; daughter Lezlie Kinyon; son William Palmer; and granddaughter Thea Boodhoo.
A memorial service was held at her home Sept. 16. A final memorial will be held on Oct. 6 at Skokomish Community Church in the Skokomish Valley of Washington State.
