First Baptist Church of Mt. Vernon hosts blood drive

The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks held a blood drive at the First Baptist Church of Mt. Vernon on Thursday, July 28. A total of 33 people came to the drive, out of which 29 were able to donate, potentially saving 87 lives. The CBCO holds blood drives at the church four times a year; their next blood drive at First Baptist will take place on Sept. 29.
