GARY RONALD GIBSON

Gary Ronald Gibson, 89, of Wentworth passed away on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025. He was born in Morristown, N.Y. on Monday, Oct. 28, 1935; the son of Herbert and Vivian (Brown) Gibson. He was a 1955 graduate of Canton, N.Y. and attended trade school for a year and a half at New York State Agriculture and Technical Institute. He was a service technician for various auto dealerships and spent many years farming.
He married Kay Blankenship on Saturday, May 28, 1960, in Syracuse, N.Y.
He is survived by one son, Gary R. Gibson, Jr. of Wentworth; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Greta Islas of New York; and nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Kay; a son, Cary R. Gibson; and a sister, Karen.
He has been cremated at his own request and no services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City.
