Gerald Lynn Slaughter

Gerald Lynn Slaughter, 60, of Pleasant Hope, passed away Feb. 8, 2019, while at his home in Pleasant Hope. He was born in Clovis, N.M. on Nov. 20, 1958 to the late Naomi King. He was married in 2000 to Kim Horne; she survives. He was a truck driver and a veteran of the United States Navy.
In addition to his wife, Slaughter is survived by: sons, Micah Slaughter of Pleasant Hope and Joseph Slaughter of Springfield; daughter, Kina Card of Grove, Okla.; brothers, Kip Slaughter and Lee Slaughter; sister, Karla Smail; and three grandchildren.
Memorial service arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be released upon completion. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett.
