Grace Linthicum Knight

Grace Linthicum Knight, 91, passed away June 4, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin. Knight was born June 9, 1927 in Stotts City, to Loren and Lodema (Henry) Smith. She was a bookkeeper for Linthicum Construction. She was a 61-year member of the First Christian Church of Carthage and a member of the Mr. and Mrs. Sunday School class.
She was married to Bill Linthicum Jan. 1, 1946, in Columbus, Kan.; he preceded her in death in 1995. She was then married to Jimmy Knight in 1999 in Laughlin, Nev.; he preceded her in death in 2001.
Knight is survived by: daughter, Sandra Wade of Webb City; son, Larry (Sue) Linthicum of Joplin; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were held June 7, 2019 at Ulmer Funeral Home.  Burial was at Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Carthage or the donation of your choice in care of Ulmer Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.ulmerfh.com.
