Hamburger Noodle Bake

The Record’s “Recipe of the Week”:
Hamburger Noodle Bake by Alicia Schmidt

1 lb. hamburger
15 oz. can tomato sauce
12 oz. bag extra wide egg noodles
16 oz. tub sour cream
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
8 oz. finely shredded cheddar cheese

In a large skillet, brown the hamburger. Add the tomato sauce and simmer for 45 minutes. While simmering, cook the noodles according to the package directions.

In a medium size bowl, mix the sour cream and softened cream cheese until blended.

Using a 13x9 casserole dish, layer the ingredients, starting with the noodles, sour cream mixture, meat mixture, then cheese.

Microwave until cheese is melted or bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
