Helen Helena Johnson

Helen Helena Johnson, 96, of Aurora, passed away Aug. 14, 2019 in Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
She was born to Matti and Paulina Korpi Leskinen on April 1, 1923 in Middle River, Minn. She was a retired accountant and was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Aurora.
Survivors include: daughter, Jeanette Allmon of Aurora;  four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Myron; an infant son; brothers, Norman, Raymond and Edwin Leskinen; and sisters, Thelma Ness and Tyyne Sorter.
Funeral services were held Aug. 19 in the Grace Lutheran Church under the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel.  Burial followed in Maple Park Cemetery.
