IDA “JANE” WRIGHT

Ida “Jane” Wright, 85, of Pierce City passed away in Springfield on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025. She was born in Pawnee Rock, Kan. on Saturday, July 15, 1939; the daughter of Marion E. and Ethel (Little) Parrack.
She graduated from Pawnee Rock High School in 1957.
She married Harold Wright in Larned, Kan. on Friday, Sept. 6, 1957.
She is survived by her husband, Harold; two children, Timothy (Beth) Wright and Sherry Tice; four grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Sue Sifford; and her nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son-in-law, Mike Tice; a daughter-in-law, Terri Wright; a grandson, Jason Tice; and a brother, Jim Parrack.
Services were held on Thursday, Feb. 6, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield with Rev. Gregory Gilliam officiating.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City.
