JACK HAILEY KING

Jack Hailey King, 95, of Aurora passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. He was born March 1, 1929, in Bolivar, the son of Roy and Jennie Lake (Hailey) King.
He graduated from Dadeville High School in 1947, and went to work farming. He was honored with the American Star Farmer Degree by the Future Farmers of America in October of 1950.
On Dec. 25, 1947, he married Bebe Rea Giberson in Dadeville.
He worked for Ranchers Oil Company, International Harvester, and Reyco and during “retirement” he worked as a security guard. He  was also a member of the Masonic Lodge #129 of Monett.
He is survived by his children, Max (Josey) King of Conway, Luanne King, and David (Eve) King of Aurora; eight grandchildren and their spouses; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson; and one great-great-granddaughter; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bebe King; his parents; his daughter, Lynda Carrol (King) Johnson and an infant grandson, James Gregory Johnson; sister, Denzelle Carlock; and brothers, Eldon, Carlos, and Kenneth King.
A visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16, at Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora. Graveside services were held at Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora with Rev. Micki Pulleyking officiating.
