JAIME ALONSO COTA, JR.

Jaime Alonso Cota, Jr., 28, of Mt. Vernon passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025. He was born  in San Diego, Calif. on June 18, 1996; the son of Romaldo Hernandez Martinez and Maria Magdalena (Mendoza) Cota.
He was employed by Schreiber Foods in Mt. Vernon as a production worker and was well respected in the construction industry.
He is survived by his parents; his girlfriend, Elvia Mejia of Mt. Vernon; daughters, Isabella Cota and Ariella Cota, both of Cassville; his son, Noah Wright of Cassville; his brother, Jacob; sisters: Michelle, Ashley and Joanna; and close friends: Miguel Wences, Orlando Garcia, Cheyenne Wright and Ty Miller, all of Cassville.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Juan Ruiz.
Visitation is scheduled from 2-3 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 13, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
