James Ellis Stockton

James Ellis Stockton, 41, of Aurora, passed away May 29, 2019 at Cox South in Springfield. He was born on Feb. 7, 1978 to Carol (Wormington) Stockton. He was married in 2012, in Ridgedale, at Integrity Hills at Big Cedar Lodge to Tessa Balmas; she survives.
He was an employee of Jack Henry and Asscoiates and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Monett.Stockton is survived by: his wife Tessa of the home; son, Riley Stockton of the home; brothers: Jeremy Stockton and Justin Souder; and sister, Kayla Roderman.
Funeral services were held June 3, 2019, at the First United Methodist Church in Monett. Burial followed services at the Monett I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Monett. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett.
