Jim R. Sewell

Jim R. Sewell, 73, of Aurora passed away March 29, 2019, in the Aurora Nursing Center.
He was born to James and Lilly Hill Sewell March 30, 1945, in Black Rock, Ark. He was a retired police officer.
Survivors include: son, Russell Sewell of Springfield; daughters, Karen Sewell of Nixa, Peggy Bergen of Nixa and Brittney Laney of Billings; brothers, Hestel Sewell of Kingman, Kan., William Sewell of Arizona, J.R. Sewell-Edwards of Webb City, Joe Sewell of Ava, Paul Sewell of Aurora and Gene Sewell of Plato; three sisters, Allene Davis of Cassville, Goldie McGarrah of Arizona and Judy Sewell of Ozark; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his parents; son, Jimmy Sewell; brother, Charles Sewell; and sister, Margarette Maddocks.
No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel.
