Juan Pablo Puente Vasquez

Juan Pablo Puente Vasquez, 80, of Monett, passed away Feb. 7, 2019, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
Vasquez was born Oct. 2, 1938, in Linares Nuevo leon, Mexico, to the late Juan Pablo Puente Castillo and Antonia Vasquez Chavez. He was employed at George’s in Butterfield and was of the Catholic faith, attending St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Monett. He married Maria Ines Gomez Martinez in 1975.
Survivors include: his wife, Maria; son, Juan Pablo Puente (Cecilia Rodriguez) Gomez; daughters, Erika Lissel Puente (Juan Gonzalez) Gomez and husband Bernardo Garcia; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 9, 2019, at Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home in Monett.
