Katherine Eileen Dowell

Katherine Eileen Dowell, 55, of Mt. Vernon, passed away Sept. 28, 2019, at the Cox South Hospital in Springfield.  She was born Nov. 21, 1963, in St. Louis, to Randall and Doris (Gossage) Gower.
Dowell is survived by: son, Hutch Allhands of Mt. Vernon; mother, Doris Gower, of Troy; sister, Anna Gower, of St. Louis; brothers, William Gower of St. Louis and Michael Gower of Troy; one grandson; and two granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her father and husband, Steve Allhands.
