KATHY SUE OMANS

Kathy Sue Omans, 65, of Aurora, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 13, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg, Missouri. She was born May 1, 1957, in Kansas City, the daughter of James David and Carolyn Sue (Peters) Omans.
She was a 1975 graduate of Fort Scott High School, in Fort Scott, Kan., and was a U.S. Army veteran.
She is survived by her brother, Brooks Omans and his wife, Kim of New Bloomfield; two nephews, and stepmother, Ann Marie Omans of Aurora.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Carolyn.
A graveside service, under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora, was held on Friday, Oct. 21, at the Maple Park Cemetery in Springfield.
Memorial donation can be may to the Wounded Warrior Project in care of the funeral home.
