Kenneth Lawrence Watkins

Kenneth Lawrence Watkins, 80, of Liberal, formerly of Aurora, passed away Aug. 10, 2019, at his home. He was born Feb. 13, 1939, in Aurora, to Clarence and Vida (Baker) Watkins.
Watkins was a driver for the Amish for 25 years and was a member of the Missouri Interstate Fox and Wolf Hunters Association. In 1957, he married Polly Wiggans, in Kansas City; she preceded him in death in 2005.
Watkins is survived by: his daughter, Tammy (Sam) Woods of Pierce City; sons, Jim (Diana) Watkins of Cassville and Duane (Amy) Watkins of Aurora; sister, Peggy (Jim) Newman of Purdy; brother, Don Holly of Neosho; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Watkins was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife; sisters, Betty Garberino, Leona Fitzgerald and Emma Bailey; and brothers, Freddy Watkins and Lloyd Watkins.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2019, at the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora. Burial will follow at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora.
