Kennie R. Flood

Kennie R. Flood, passed away surrounded by his loving family, on Sept. 06, 2021, at the age of 70. Flood was born in Aurora, on Jan. 12, 1951, to Kenneth and Wilma (Conrad) Flood. He was the second of five children in the home.
He graduated from Galena High School in 1969. Soon after graduation, Flood married Delora Edwards, and this union was blessed with three children, Angie, Roger, and Brent. Flood and Delora celebrated 36 years of marriage until her passing in 2005. He worked for 30 years as a milker, and an additional 25 years for Conco as a laborer, until he retired. He was a lifetime member of Wrights Chapel Full Gospel Church, and a great man of faith who loved his Lord. On May 02, 2008, Kennie married Christine Phillips, and she added to the family by bringing her two adult children, David, and Katrina.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Delora in 2005 and daughter Angie Richardson in 2021.
Flood is survived by his loving wife, Christine, children, Roger Flood and Brent Flood (Brittany), step-children, David Applegate and Katrina Applegate, son-in-law, Roger Richardson, 10 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, 4 great grandchildre, siblings, Deloris McCrorey (Danny), Linda Harter, Sherman Flood and Danny Flood, as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family and countless friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Meadors Funeral Home, to help offset funeral expenses.
A visitation was held  5–7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021,  at Meadors Funeral Home in Clever. Funeral Services took place at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 10, 2021, in Wrights Chapel Full Gospel Church, with Pastor Rick Flood officiating. Burial took place in Yocum Pond Cemetery (Reeds Spring).
