KIMBERLY MARIE KESTERSON

Kimberly Marie Kesterson, 46, of Mt. Vernon passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield. She was born in Springfield on  Oct. 11, 1978; the daughter of April Bender and Harry Kesterson.
She was a 1997 graduate of  Republic High School in Republic and Paul Mitchell The School in Springfield class of 2013, where she furthered her career in cosmetology.
She is survived by her mother, April Bender of Mt. Vernon; one daughter, Jade Ross of Mt. Vernon; one son, Jacob Ross of Coffeyville, Kan.; one sister, Chelsea (Curt) White and their three children of Billings; one brother, Logan Bender of Republic; one aunt, Donna Kelley of Fort Worth, Texas and two uncles, Larry Baker and Terry Kelley both of Judsonia, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Kesterson; one uncle, Gary Kelley and two aunts, Frances Kesterson and Mary Sue Anderson.
A graveside service, under the direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, was held on Saturday, May 31, at Mt. Comfort Cemetery north of Springfield.
