Kyler Garrett Koenig

Kyler Garrett Koenig, 22, of Pierce City, passed away Oct. 12, 2018, in the comfort of his home with his family and friends at his side.
Koenig was born March 1, 1996, in Springfield. He graduated from Pierce City High School with the class of 2015. He was an avid video gamer, Food Network fan, arm chair chef, Anime connoisseur and a loud and proud Kansas City Chiefs fan.
Koenig survived by: parents, Jodie Lynne Koenig and Clint Lee O’Hara, of Pierce City; sister, Abby O’Hara, of Pierce City; step-sister, Kayden Dillbeck, of Pierce City; grandfather, Raymond Koenig, of Pierce City; aunts, Stacy (Kara) Cloud, Mendy (Mike) Dollar; and a host of family .
Koenig was preceded in death by: twin brother, Brenden Koenig;  younger brother, Trevor Koenig; and his grandmother, Chris Koenig.
Funeral services were held Oct. 16, 2018, at the First Baptist Church in Pierce City. Interment will be held at St. Agnes Cemetery in Sarcoxie. Memorials may be made to the Koenig family in care of First State Bank. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home.
