Lance Scott Cypret

Lance Scott Cypret, previously of Mt. Vernon, passed away on Aug. 30, 2025, in Licking. He was born Aug. 30, 2006, in Aurora.
He lived most of his life in Mt. Vernon with his parents and brothers. He was dedicated whether he was helping others, playing around, or struggling; when he made his mind up, there was no changing it.
He is survived by his parents, Dustin and Samantha Cypret, and Lacy Browning; three brothers, Gavin, Zach and Levi Cypret; three sisters, Curestan Cypret, Lydia Siver and Aubrie Ritchie; a niece and nephew; paternal grandmother, Angie Cypret; maternal grandparents, Sheila and Chris Phelan, and Douglas Adams; along with a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Nicholas, and DJ Cypret; aunt, Lisa Miller; “Poppy” Jack Cypret; “Nana” Tammy Adams and paternal great-grandparents, Jack and Joyce Cypret.
A memorial service was held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025, at Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon.
