Law. Co. Relay for Life June 8

The 2019 Lawrence County Relay for Life event is all set for its annual go round. The cancer-fighting fundraiser will be held from 6-10 p.m., Saturday, June 8, on the square in Mt. Vernon.
Mt. Vernon native singer Liz Moriondo is slated to perform. There will also be a bounce house and water gun area for kids, as well as karaoke and games. Luminarias can be purchased to honor those that have been affected with cancer. Survivors and caregivers will be recognized during the evening’s events.
Several participating teams will be selling food, such as baked potatoes, Frito pie’s and Andy’s Frozen Custard.
Organizers are still accepting teams, survivors and sponsors.
Any interested individuals can come and enjoy the evening without being on a team.
