Lawence Co. Sheriff DeLay recognized for 30 years of public service

Sheriff DeLay

Monday, May 15, marked 30 years of service for Lawrence County Sheriff Brady Delay.
In a post by the Lawrence County Sheriffs Office, DeLay was congratulated for “three decades of dedicated, unwavering public service.”
The post went on to say, “that’s a lot of sacrifice, a lot of physical and mental power, a lot of laughs, a lot of sleepless nights, and a lot of blood, sweat and tears. Sheriff DeLay is not only a true pillar and leader in the law enforcement community, who stands behind what is right, but has somehow mastered the perfect mixture of management and leadership; a rapidly diminishing quality in today’s world”.
To celebrate this accomplishment, as well as the accomplishments of Sheriff DeLay’s deputies, a surprise reception was held Monday in his honor.
