Pam Mieswinkel Fobair

J.R. Wolfe

The following are the candidates running for Lawrence County Circuit Clerk:

Pam Mieswinkel Fobair
Age: 56

Occupation: Incumbent – 4 years in office, and continual court related education. I have  24 years experience in county government and I have served as a county elected office holder for 22 of those years in two different offices.

Education: HS Diploma, Health Services

Family: I am married to my husband Mike of 41 years, we have two sons and 4 grandchild.

Why should someone vote for you? A person of integrity, a good work ethic and I have Christian values. (I'll) continue to embrace and adapt to the changes as our state office makes advances to improve our court system functionality. (I'm also) a board member of the Republican Central Committee and an Honorary Rotary Member.

J.R. Wolfe
Education: 1992 graduate of Pierce City High School; 1997 graduate from Missouri Southern State College with BA in Criminal Justice Administration and an AS in Law Enforcement.

Family: My wife Jendel and I will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary this September. We are the proud parents of three boys: Beau, Luke and Logan.

Occupation: I have been an employee for the state for the past 24 years, serving Lawrence County. For the first 10 years of my career, I worked at the Mt. Vernon Treatment Center. This facility is part of the Division of Youth Services which provides treatment and accountability to juvenile offenders that have committed serious criminal offenses that would result in felony charges had they been adults.
For the next five years, I worked for the Missouri Children’s Division for the 39th Judicial Circuit. I was a case manager for children placed in state custody due to abuse and neglect. After my first year with Children’s Division, I was promoted to be a supervisor. I oversaw hotline investigations, case management and case management. In doing so, I worked closely with the courts and the juvenile office.
For the past eight years I have been employed with the Missouri Division of Probation and Parole. I was a probation and parole officer until December 2021 when I was promoted to the position of unit supervisor. As an employee of probation and parole, I work very closely with all aspects of the judicial system in Lawrence County, as well with other local law enforcement agencies.

Why should someone vote for you?
If elected, I will continue to build on the positive working relationship I have with everyone involved within the judicial process. Most importantly, the citizens of Lawrence County. Not everyone intends to find themselves involved with the court. Whether that is due to civil matters, criminal matters, family matters or serving as a juror. As the circuit clerk, my goal is to make that experience the best it can be in any given situation.
Throughout my 24 years of working with the state, I have a lot of valuable training and experience in working with others. I am confident that this experience will serve me well within the office of the circuit clerk.
