Ledoris Maxine Swearingen

Ledoris Maxine Swearingen, 80, of Aurora passed away Jan. 2, 2021, at the Aurora Nursing Center.  She was born Jan. 17, 1940, in Fresno, Calif., the daughter of McKinley and Emma (Harden) Hedrick.
She was the activity director for the Ozarks Methodist Manor in Marionville and for the Aurora Nursing Center, before retiring from the housekeeping department for the Missouri Rehabilitation Center in Mt. Vernon.  She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Aurora.
She is survived by sons, Tim (Cheryl) Swearingen of Crane, Steve (Diane) Swearingen and Doug (Robin) Swearingen all of Jenkins; sisters, Leona (Zethro) Richardson of Aurora and Wilma Smith of Marionville; brothers, Ronnie Hedrick of Aurora and Joe (Jeri) Hedrick of Shell Knob; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Pauline Skief and Lexie Schwitters, and brothers, Ralph, Glen, Don, J.B. and Floyd Hedrick and a set of infant twins.
A visitation was held Jan. 6, 2021, at the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora, a funeral service followed in the funeral home chapel. Burial followed at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora.
