Leonard L. Cook

Leonard L. Cook, 79. of Aurora, passed away Jan. 29, 2020 in Mercy Hospital in Springfield. He was born to Ralph and Marie Cook April 8, 1940 in Golden City.
Survivors include: his wife, Betty;  sons, Leonard Cook Jr. of Spavinaw, Okla., Ralph Cook of Wentworth and Alford Jeffers of Monett; daughters, Barbara Cook of Stockton, Rosemary Wells of Joplin, Christina Thompson of Joplin, and Lori Patrick of La Russell; step-children, Sandra Cargile of Aurora, Lisa Beaumont of Willard, Stephen Cargile of Aurora, Tim Cargile of Houston, Texas, Randy Cargile of Aurora, John Cargile of Butterfield, Paul Cargile of Aurora, Jerry Cargile of Monett, Glen Cargile of West Plains and Teresa Weeks of Cassville; brother, Vernon Cook of West Plains; sisters, Carol Campbell of Aurora and Sharon Hensley of Bolivar; and several grand and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service was held Feb. 1 in the Harvest Fellowship Church. Arrangements are under the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel.
